These oval flanged ball bearing units consists of an insert bearing mounted in a cast iron housing that can be bolted to a machine wall or frame. The units have set screw locking which makes them suitable for applications where the direction of rotation is constant or alternating, and they can be relubricated through a grease fitting in the housing. These units are especially suitable for bearing arrangements that operate under tough conditions with relatively heavy loads.
